chee'se updates

so i took some pictures to show you where i live and work at ao that you'd understand what's my life in Osaka is like better :)
という事で、千晴がどんな所にいるか見せようと思って近辺の写真を撮ってみました。

Picture 1.　my apartment!!!　our room is the one on right bottom.　it really is a nice apartment...　i often think i don't deserve living in such a nice apartment.　the Lord is gracious.
i see this little shrine on the side of the street as i walk to church everyday.　It's a reminder of why I came back to Japan...　even when I am tired or struggle with having a good attitude about going to work in the morning, my thoughts are sobered by how lost and spiritually dead this country is as I walk passed it.
写真１.　今住んでいる所。右下が私たちの部屋です。毎日ある道に小さな、、、日本語で何って言うんだろう、、、仏に祈る所があります。ここを毎日歩いていると、日本がどんなに霊的に失われた国かを思わされます。この国の人々の救いの為にも祈っていかなきゃ。

Picture 2.　here it is, the church... i know, i know, it's not a matter of the building :):) (people from CBC would know what i mean)　anyhow, this is the church building as well as the place in which i work.
写真２．　見てのとおり、浜寺の教会。ここに毎日通っているわけさ。

Picture 3.　these are the people i get to work with everyday! they are all very very sweet.　my love for them grew pretty fast not only because they are sweet people because we share the same purpose and goal for life & ministries. there are alot to learn from them. i've enjoyed getting to know them :)
　Wachi-san is an elder of this church. he comes to the office every day and lives out what servant-ledership should be like. he might look a little scary, but he is hilarious!
　Atuko, a.k.a. Atsu-chan, works/serves at the church non-stop!!　sometimes i think... "is she a workaholic??" she also is a great example of servanthood. she is one of the sweetest ladies i've every met!!!
　Etuko, a.k.a. Etsu-chan, also works/serves without any dayoff.　i heard that she is the most powerful one at this church... controlling everything from the back. ok, just kidding, but she does handle alot of secretrarial works... more than one person can handle.
they all are such hard workers. pray for them as you remember Hamadera Bible Church in your prayers, too.
three pictures on your right hand side is my "office" which i share with aaron, christi & amanda t. i'm in this room... from 10am to 6:30pm (sometimes longer) translating all day long. tell you, my brain becomes like tofu by the end of the day.　(the top & bottom pictures are aaron & christi's desk, the middle is my desk)
写真３．これが、一緒に教会で働いている人達です。皆とても優しく、良くしてもらっています。
　ワチさんは、この教会の長老の一人。リーダーシップを持つ人が如何に仕える者となって奉仕していくかという見本を毎日教会での奉仕を通してみせてくれています。怖そうに見えても実はとても面白い人で良く笑わせてもらっております。
　あっちゃんは、毎日朝早くか夜遅くまでいる働き者な人。すーんごく優しくて、いつでも笑顔な人。
　えっちゃんは、この教会で一番怖い人?!?!と聞いたんだけど、本当かも(笑)。でも実際、たくさんの仕事をこなしていて、とても忙しい、、、でもそういう中でも、面白さは忘れないのがやっぱり大阪人なんだろうな。かなり面白いです、この人。
皆とても働き者です。お世話かけ過ぎない様にしなきゃな。彼らの働きの為にもお祈りして下さい。
右に見える３枚の写真は、私の仕事場。アロンと、クリスティーとアマンダ(トンプソンの方)と一緒にここで働いております。

i'm praying that i'll continue to serve at Hamadera Bible Church - not "by the way of the eye-service, as people pleaser, but as a servant of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to men."


aaron, christi and i are in the same office every day, so we sometimes go out to lunch (or just eat at the church)...　sushi, McDonald's, etc.　it's so much fun hanging out with them since we appreciate the same sense of humor.　the only downfall is that i don't get done as much as i would like to...　because i'm laughing hard and totally getting distracted! but it's my fault...　i need to focus & discipline! (what's new, eh? hee hee)
アロンとクリスティーと一緒の事務所を使っているんだけど、笑いのツボが同じなので、一緒に居ると笑い続けて仕事にならない。やろうと思ってる事がなかなか進まなくて、、、困る。ま、自分の集中力の問題なんだけどさ。写真は、お昼に自転車に乗ってお寿司を食べに行ったときのです。
